A sigh of relief from the fans after a topsy-turvy season came to an end with Liverpool beating Middlesbrough 3-0 at Anfield and finishing in the fourth spot. This ensures we will be playing in the qualification round of the Champions League and could play in the main round since the 2014-15 season.
We knew we had to win the game to ensure finishing in the top four and it did get a bit tense as both Arsenal and Manchester City were leading but Georginio Wijnaldum eased the nerves with a great finish in the first half stoppage time.
Things got much easier in the second half as Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana widened the gap and completed the job.
The tough task begins with the qualifying round and then bringing in quality players but for now, we can celebrate a decent season.
Fans did celebrate on Twitter and here are some of the best reactions
Liverpool WILL be seeded for their Champions League qualifier in August.

Liverpool scored 2.05 goals per league game this season – they’ve only averaged more in 7 of their 101 previous top flight seasons.
