Liverpool isn’t a football club; it is a lot more than that. The Reds certainly are one of the biggest clubs in the world and the history of over 125 years has featured many highs and lows.

We haven’t had the best of times in terms of silverware in the past decade or so but that doesn’t stop us from being the best supporters in the world. The club, celebrating its 125th anniversary shared an incredible video lasting 125 seconds.

The video contains everything from the beginning, with Everton Athletic to the first ever FA Cup final to some of the tough days in the second division.

We also get to see our legendary managers Shankly and Paisley and those glory years of European domination. King Kenny, Ian Rush, and John Barnes make an appearance too and there are a few tear jerking moments regarding the Heysel and Hillsborough tragedies.

There are images of Kevin Keegan and Graeme Souness and a number of other players. Even an image of the famous “Boot Room” makes it to the list.

Recent stars such as Carra, Stevie G, Luis Suarez, Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres (he still was one of the best to wear the shirt, and we can ignore the Chelsea bit for now) also make the cut and the transition continues with the new Jurgen Klopp era.

And no such video would be complete without us, the crazy fans of Liverpool screaming and singing our hearts out whether the team wins or loses.

Hopefully, we will have more good times with the club in the coming years and decades but for now, let’s just celebrate the glory of the past. The journey of being a Liverpool supporter isn’t just about winning the medals, we are much more than that and the video surely captures that and a lot more.

Happy 125th birthday to Liverpool FC and here is the video. Just sit back, relax and get ready to feel some tingling feeling down the spine!
