Alberto Moreno

Alberto Moreno has become a forgotten man at Liverpool and he has struggled so much in the last one year or so. He hardly played last season and Klopp doesn’t seem to believe in the young Spaniard. Naturally, there has been some doubts about his future and to cap it off, it looks like we’ve received a bid for the player.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool have rejected a £11m approach from Napoli, as the Reds feel that Moreno is worth £15m. Talk about playing hardball in negotiating! Moreno is a player who was displaced by a 31-year old midfielder James Milner, who played as a makeshift left-back last season. The Spaniard basically couldn’t win his place back fighting with the versatile English ‘midfielder’.

I quite don’t understand why Liverpool want more for the player. Considering the kind of season he’s had, £11m is a good amount of money. If it is that there are no suitors for the player, then it would be suicidal to negotiate hard with Napoli.

The fans took Twitter to express their opinion on the same and they were all frustrated! We came across some interesting reactions on social media. Read on!
