A Complete Analysis of the Players That Left Liverpool This Summer

Leaving a big club like Liverpool is a hard moment for any player, even if you’re only out on a loan. But with the right approach, leaving on a loan from Liverpool is like a second chance to improve your game, impress at the new club, and make them keep you for good. The cormorants sold a lot of players and gave out on loan even more this summer. It’s time to take a quick look at how they’ve adapted at their new teams.

Lucas Leiva

Leiva gathered a total of 346 appearances in over 10 years spent at Anfield. His departure was on very good terms as he joined Lazio to become a regular in the starting eleven alongside Savic and Parolo. He already played 13 matches for the Italian club, starting in 12 out of the thirteen and coming in from the bench on one occasion.

Mamadou Sakho

There are quite a few fans that are still not over the fact that Sakho left to Crystal Palace, especially when you take a look at how the defense of Liverpool is doing. But the guys from Crystal Palace seem to enjoy every minute of his appearances, with Mamadou helping them keep a clean sheet in the last cup match.

Kevin Stewart

Liverpool managed to secure 8 million pounds on their backup midfielder. Well, Stewart managed to do just that when he left for Hull. A bit unlucky though because he picked up an ankle injury that kept him out for two months. But after that was out of the way, he became a regular in the team.

Andre Wisdom

Yet another player that left Liverpool and changed the division, Wisdom was sold for around 2 million pounds when he left for Derby. He has 13 appearances in Derby’s defense and is hoping for a fight for promotion but that’s as sure as playing .

Ryan Fulton

Ryan has left Liverpool for the Scottish Premier League and joined Hamilton Academical last summer. At only 21, he already gathered three matches at this new team. Unfortunately for him and the team, they’re battling on the wrong side of the table and might be forced to play in the Scottish second division next year.

Ryan Kent

Ryan was loaned to Freiburg in the Bundesliga and the 20-year-old already gathered five appearances so far. The most notable one was securing the starting lineup against Bayern on Allianz arena and he looks like he’s enjoying his experience in Germany.

Divock Origi

Now this was a shocker. Everyone was surprised to see that Origi was allowed to go on a loan. Just like his former colleague, Fulton, Origi took the way of Bundesliga by joining Wolfsburg. There he already has 4 goals in 10 matches and all of his 4 goals brought valuable points for Wolfsburg. His plan is to improve even more and make Liverpool want to battle for him as he looks like a very promising player considering he’s only 22. We all know sport and gambling go hand in hand so you just might find good odds for the number of goals Origi will score during his loan at
