Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to re-sign former reds star for €40-50 million to add depth to the line-up

Suso was one player that we lost for a relatively low sum but we could be looking to re-sign the AC Milan now, according to Calcio Mercato. The report claims that the player has been tracked by Liverpool since November and that we are now ready to sign him up by meeting his release clause.

Suso has been one of the bright sparks for AC Milan this season as the giants of Italian football spent big in hopes of catching Juventus. But the side have fallen flat since the start of the season and now languish at 11th place and are in danger of missing out on European football altogether.

We do have the money to sign any player up as we got a good sum from the Coutinho sale and the report suggests that Suso could be our player should we pay around €40-50million to break his release clause. However, we have not made any official move to sign Suso and that might be a bit of a downer for most Liverpool fans as the Spaniard was a fan favourite during his time at Anfield.

We have been looking to replace Coutinho and Suso might just be the right person for that role, given that he has played in the middle of the park and can be deployed out wide too. Suso has scored 7 goals and has 3 assists to his name this season – not a bad return for someone who has been deployed in a number of roles at the Serie A club.

One thing is a given, he has certainly gotten better during his time in Italy and he would help any side he moves to. Suso needs to play regularly and that is not a certainty should he join us. Also, we have been linked

with players such as Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian would be a better signing given that he has proper Premier League experience.

It will be interesting to see who we do sign using the Coutinho money as we need some attacking quality in our team.
