Liverpool’s erratic form was on display once again as we lost to bottom-placed Swansea City in the Premier League. Despite playing with our three best attackers – Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, we could not breach the defence of the home side, which has lead to questions about our attacking ability.
While we have lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, we have not replaced the Brazilian even after having a lot of money to spend. A number of players, however, have been linked with a move to Anfield and once again, Thomas Lemar is being touted as the replacement for the departed Brazilian.
Lemar has not been prolific this season like he was in the previous one but his club have indicated that they could be open to offers for the Frenchman. Our fans seemed to be ready to see the player arrive at Liverpool and reports claim that we have already agreed to terms with the 23-year-old, with Monaco holding out for €100m.
