Last night, Allison showed why he is so highly-rated across Europe. The Brazilian made 8 saves in the first-half against Sampdoria that is reportedly more than any Roma goalkeeper has had in an entire match in the last 5 years.

Allison was fantastic, made key saves during the entire game to keep his side in the game. Unfortunately for him and Roma, Sampdoria scored in the 80^th minute through Colombia forward Duvan Zapata, which turned out to be the winner.

Despite ending on the losing side, the goalkeeper earned a lot of plaudits for his heroics and exceptional shot-stopping ability.
