Liverpool moved to second place in the Premier League table after a comfortable 4-1 win over West Ham United. Emre Can, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane scored for us as we maintained our push for a top-four finish and more importantly, got a win before United’s game against Chelsea tomorrow.
The game didn’t start easy for us as West Ham did their best to beat us on the counter. Marko Arnautovic saw a looped shot of his get saved by Loris Karius’ fingertips and the inside of the post.
Can got the breakthrough after a corner from Salah. It was the Egyptian who scored the next and he equalled Luis Suarez’s goalscoring tally of 31 in a season. We quickly made it three after an error from the Hammers goalkeeper Adrian, with Firmino rounding him off and scoring with a no-look shot.
Our defensive frailties came out again as Michail Antonio scored immediately after the kick-off but Sadio Mane completed the rout, after having hit the post from an easier chance a little early on.
There were a lot of positives for us to take and the fans were extremely happy with the win. Here are some of the best tweets we came across.

Liverpool star Roberto #Firmino scored another cheeky no-look goal on Saturday. Firmino looked away from goal to net #LFC‘s third in the win over West Ham. It was the third time the Brazili forward has scored without looking this season. pic.twitter.com/1VIVOiZoxh

Roberto Firmino is better than your striker and there’s absolutely NOTHING you can do about it.

Firmino has 3 goals this season whilst deliberately not looking at the ball. That is the same amount that Paul Pogba has scored using both of his eyes. Pogba has had 34 more hairstyles this season though. Swings and roundabouts. #lfc
