The highly-anticipated Champions League semi-final draw took place earlier today and we face AS Roma next. After decimating Manchester City to progress to the next level, Liverpool have their work cut out. Roma crushed La Liga giants Barcelona to advance to this stage and beating them certainly won’t be an easy task.
That leaves Real Madrid facing off against Bayern Munich and either of the two teams will progress to the much-awaited final. After overcoming City, we should be able to beat Roma as well. The first-leg will happen on either 24th or 25th April and the return leg will take place either on 1st or 2nd May.
If we make it through, the Champions League final will be held in Kiev, Ukraine on 26th May. There is a long time to go and we have a formidable challenge ahead of us in the semifinals. However, if we make it through, it would be an incredible feat indeed.
Liverpool last won the Champions League back in 2005 and after a long wait, we find ourselves here. The excitement is real and most fans expressed their thoughts about the draw on Twitter. Take a look at some of the best ones:

Our fans are underrating Roma, they didn’t smash Chelsea, Atletico and Barcelona due to luck. Liverpool fans tweeting ‘Kiev’ with random emojis need to chill, long way away.

Wouldn’t underestimate any team that makes the semi finals of the Champions League, but this is Liverpool’s best opportunity to reach the final. Play to our best and we’re going to Kiev.

Liverpool are going to Kiev whilst Coutinho watches from home. His time may come but this January move has to be one of the worst decisions in recent history

King Mo Salah just might become Liverpool's greatest ever if he even dares to lead us to glory in Kiev.
