Liverpool fans haven’t seen much of Alberto Moreno lately but his truly incredible piece of skill in training will leave everyone dumbfounded.
The Spaniard has come under a lot of fire at the club since signing from Sevilla in 2014, with series of high-profile errors foiling his progress. He started the season as Liverpool’s first-choice left-back but a poor run of form and injury issues saw him lose his spot to Andrew Robertson.
However, as the Reds prepare for their trip to West Brom on Saturday, Moreno was seen in good spirits and was captured practising corners.
In the video clip posted by Moreno on his official Twitter account, the Spaniard was spotted alongside his teammates Virgil Van Dijk and Sadio Mane, well behind the corner flag trying to curl the ball into the goal.
After Van Dijk and Mane failed to get the ball into the back of the net, Moreno stepped up and showed an unbelievable bit of skill. He managed to pull it off by producing an outrageous rabona, with the ball curling perfectly into the net. It was indeed a fantastic slice of skill!
The 25-year-old has struggled for minutes this season and recently came off the bench in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
However, the lack of game time this season has not hampered his confidence as he still remains an important member in Jurgen Klopp’s side.
For now, watch this piece of brilliant skill by Moreno and enjoy!
