Liverpool will look to continue their decent run of form ahead of an important clash against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. The Reds should effectively seal a top-four finish should they win at the Hawthorns but West Brom will be tough opponents to face.

The Baggies beat Manchester United at Old Trafford and even picked up a shock win in the FA Cup against us. We, on the other hand, had a comfortable win over Bournemouth in our last game and will also be looking forward to the first-leg of the Champions League semi-final against Roma on the 24th of April.

There might be a few changes made to the side as Jurgen Klopp would want to keep our players fresh and with training being conducted at Melwood, there was some positive news as Dejan Lovren was back working.

Pictures on Liverpool’s official site showed that the Croatian was in a jovial mood as he spent time with Mohamed Salah and Alberto Moreno.

There was more good news on the defensive front as Joe Gomez was seen training with the side again and could be in line to make an appearance against the Baggies.

Virgil van Dijk should start the game and the Dutch defender has made a huge difference for our side with his organising skills at the back.

The man of the moment, Mohamed Salah too was a part of the training session and the Egyptian will be looking to score in yet another match and help us win three points.

His partner in crime, Roberto Firmino, was seen working out with Dominic Solanke. The Englishman must start in place of Firmino as the Brazilian needs to be fresh for the clash against Roma.

Jordan Henderson was also in action during the training session and even James Milner was involved. He was exceptional in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester City.

One aspect of the side that we might not talk about much is the goalkeepers, with Loris Karius looking pretty solid at the back and the German should start for us at the Hawthorns.

A win would be great for us but we have to keep an eye out for Roma as well. We have a 7-point lead over Chelsea in the race for the top-four but the Champions League has to be our biggest priority now.
