Sadio Mane has been in the news for all the right reasons this term but as per a recent report from Daily Mail, the Senegalese star was spotted outside a hospital. The report has also claimed that he was walking in with a slight limp and that is a worrisome prospect for us.
After a sensational 5-2 win against AS Roma in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final clash, our work is far from over. The second-leg will be an away fixture and that will prove to be quite challenging even if we have a healthy lead at hand.
However, without the £90,000-a-week Mane, our chances will take a massive hit. Let’s indulge in wishful thinking for a while and assume that we make it to the finals; there is no doubt that Mane’s absence will cost us dearly.
For now, there is no clarity on the issue and it could be something minor. However, the timing is terrible and if Mane is indeed suffering, it will be a major blow for us.
His partnership with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino is exceptional and without our attack, we are unlikely to progress further.
Our fellow supporters on Twitter appeared to share the concerns. Let’s just hope Mane recovers in time and that there is nothing to worry about. In the meantime though, have a look at some of the best tweets from our fans:

Sadio Mane a notable absentee from #LFC training pics from Melwood today. You'll have seen the pics of him at Spire Hospital earlier. Klopp press conference is 10.30am tomorrow – he will address then.
Worrying, though. Injuries mounting for Reds at the worst possible time.
