To say Sadio Mane has been a crucial figure for us this season would be an understatement. He has delivered fantastic performances day in and day out while forming a formidable partnership with the likes of Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Going forward, we do have some important matches lined up and Liverpool will need his services. However, as per a report from Daily Mail, the player was recently spotted outside a hospital after the Champions League clash against AS Roma.

It is reported that he walked in with a slight limp and this does raise concerns for us. We have the second leg of our semi-final clash against Roma. Although we won 5-2 at home, the away fixture will be quite a test for us. Without Mane, our chances of winning will take a significant hit.

Jurgen Klopp did not mention anything about an injury to Mane after the match but it is possible that the player would have picked something up while training.

As far as the injuries go, things are looking rather sombre for us. Emre Can is struggling with a back injury while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will not return for the rest of the season. With a crucial semi-final away clash and the possibility of the finals in Kiev, let’s just hope Mane’s hospital visit is not all that worrisome.

With a game against Stoke City this weekend, it is important that Klopp rests Mane to keep him fresh ahead of the pivotal match next week.
