Sadio Mane has been a key attacker for Liverpool for a while now. The way he has established a formidable partnership with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino has elevated our game to a whole new level.
We have an intense UEFA Champions League final clash coming up against Real Madrid and it is quite evident that the summer transfer window will be a busy time for us.
A report from French publication RMC Sport (h/t Sky Sports) sent Liverpool fans into a tizzy as it claimed that Liverpool have agreed on a deal for Nabil Fekir. If there is truth to the report, Fekir will have a key role to play in terms of improving the Liverpool attack.
Hence, it comes as no surprise that Mane seems to be pleased about the potential deal for the Frenchman. As reported by Liverpool Echo, our Senegalese superstar not only gave his seal of approval but he also seemed to be as excited like the rest of us.
As quoted by SFR Sport (h/t Liverpool Echo), Mane said:
“He is a top player, we would be happy seeing him with us. If he comes he’ll do great things with us. Yes, it will be like fire if he comes.”
Fekir would not be a like-to-like replacement for Coutinho but given his skills and versatility, the Frenchman will definitely be a wise option for us.
He is versatile and is adept at scoring goals as well. Also, his creative energy coupled with the power of Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino could get us closer to our dream of winning the Premier League title in the near future.
