Liverpool’s very own goalscoring machine from Egypt, Mohamed Salah, has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of The Year award, confirmed Liverpool’s official website.

After picking up numerous accolades which include the PFA Player of The Year and Golden Boot, it looks like Salah is on the verge of having yet another title bestowed upon him. It certainly does not come as a surprise given the incredible season he has enjoyed with Liverpool.

Salah arrived at Anfield on a relatively low-profile transfer but he hit the ground running and did not stop until the very end of the season. Having scored a whopping 44 goals in a single season is an incredible number to boast of.

The report claims that Salah has been joined by the likes of David De Gea, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling as other nominees and it remains to be seen which of these talented players walk away with the prestigious award.

It would be a remarkable feat if Salah manages to win this one as well. Very rarely does a player from a different league come into the English top-flight and take the league by storm but Salah has managed to do exactly that.

However, his work for Liverpool is not done yet. We still have the Champions League final against Real Madrid to deal with before we wrap things up for this season. Salah will undoubtedly play a crucial role in this game as well.

Salah winning this award would purely be down to the fans and one can cast their vote here.
