Egyptian lawyer goes one step ahead of Liverpool fans over Sergio Ramos incident: Reds will love this

An Egyptian lawyer has sued Sergio Ramos for €1billion after the Real Madrid man injured Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final.

Ramos arm-locked Salah as the pair fell in the first half and the Liverpool forward had to leave the field due to an injured shoulder. Madrid ended up winning the final 3-1 and defended their Champions League crown but Bassem Wahba stated on Egyptian television that he had sued the Madrid defender.

While speaking to Sada El-Balad channel (h/t The Mirror

) the lawyer said:

“Ramos intentionally injured Mo Salah and should be punished about his actions.

“I’ve filed a lawsuit and a complaint to FIFA.

“I’ll ask for compensation, which could exceed €1 billion (£873 million), for the physical and psychological harm that Ramos gave Salah and the Egyptian people.”

There were fears that Salah could be out of action for a while and with Egypt taking part in the World Cup, the forward could have missed the tournament if the damage to his shoulder was serious.

However, the former AS Roma man suggested that he was confident of making it to the World Cup on time and he had only suffered “a sprain in the shoulder ligaments” according to the Egypt medical team.

Salah did help Liverpool make a bright start in the final and his withdrawal after 30 minutes more or less ended any chance the Reds had.

The Egyptian had been in great form and won the Golden Boot in the Premier League too after scoring 32 goals and providing 10 assists in the competition.

Salah also scored 10 times in the Champions League and had he played the entire game, we might have even come out on top.

Hopefully, the 25-year-old will come back stronger and hungrier than ever when the new season begins. Winning titles has to be the next thing for the side and with a fit and firing Salah on our side, there is no doubt trophies will be coming soon to Anfield.
