Loris Karius has found support coming in from all corners of the world after his performance in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. The latest player to console the German keeper is Manchester United’s Eric Bailly.
The German keeper was at fault for two of the goals Liverpool conceded in the final as Los Galacticos ran out 3-1 winners. We were a match for the defending champions throughout the game and prior to the errors, we had a chance of winning the tie.
However, things did not go our way and Karius was seen crying after the final whistle too. A number of football players, former and current, have supported the German but Bailly coming out and doing the same is a bit of a shock, to say the least.
A United player supporting a Liverpool one is a rarity these days but the central defender commented on an Instagram post shared by Karius and that was well received by many fans across football, including some Liverpool supporters.

Was looking through the comments on Karius’ picture and I am shocked to see the respect from Eric Bailly and Kasper Schmeichal. This is what I love about football, current Man Utd player and ex Man Utd legend showing some class when our keeper needs it the most pic.twitter.com/wzdKGWXs8Z

Karius did have a howler in Kiev and received a lot of support from unexpected venues too and hopefully, the German will be back stronger next season and help us win some trophies too.
