Roberto Firmino seems to be doing his bit in bringing Alisson over to Liverpool as the striker revealed that the goalkeeper asked him about the club.
The Reds have been linked with a big-money move for the AS Roma keeper and his teammate also added that Alisson has had offers from other clubs too.
Firmino was quoted by the Metro as saying:
“He [Alisson] has asked me about Liverpool and I hope he will come here, but I know he has other proposals.”
The 25-year-old had a stellar season with Roma and even faced us in the Champions League semi-final, which we won 7-6 on aggregate.
The keeper has also been linked with a move to Chelsea and Real Madrid but we really need a new player between the sticks after the horror show in the Champions League final.
Agent Bobby at it again?
This is not the first time that Firmino has done something similar. Our new signing Fabinho revealed how he got the lowdown on Anfield, the club and the city from the former Hoffenheim man.
The new recruit from Monaco also stated that having someone who speaks the same language is helpful in adapting to a new city and that seems to be the case with Firmino trying to convince Alisson.
Hopefully, the keeper can forget about moving to any other club and join the Reds as we already have a couple of star Brazilians to make his transition a little easier.
Alisson will not come on the cheap though, with Roma demanding a transfer fee of £79million for the 25-year-old but we have to get a world-class keeper in before next season and the Brazilian does seem like the right man for the job.
