Liverpool seem to have switched targets for their goalkeeper as the Guardian reports that the Reds are interested in Lazio youngster Thomas Strakosha.
The 23-year-old Albanian helped the Serie A side finish 5th in the league last season and the report also adds that the player would be available for half the price of Alisson and Jan Oblak.
Twitter was the place to be as Liverpool fans came out in full force to share their views on the proposed move for the 23-year-old.
I’d willingly give Strakosha a shot – BUT only if we get rid of John Achterberg. We change goalies a lot but surely the management should realize it’s ACHTERBERG who is the problem..

He’s a good GK but Not as good as oblak or alisson

How many GK’s have we been linked with and it’s only June 🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂

Sorry. That doesn’t make any sense.
We’ve got to invest in a quality stopper. We’ve had years of goalie clock ups. A string of keepers that have cost us trophies. It’s got to stop. Pay the going rate for proven quality and we will reap the benefit in trophies.— John Swift (@swiftmole7) June 14, 2018
Who ?

We went big at centre back with Van Dijk, we need to do the same with a goalkeeper and spend big on proven quality. We might as well give Danny Ward a go than settle for a cheap option such as this. #LFC

If Fifa is anything to go by, he’s got a potential of 89 I believe which is ridiculous
— Subhan (@_SubhanH) June 13, 2018
Rather we went after Geronimo Rulli, Sergi Rico or Anthony Lopes
