Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso “dreams” of a move to Liverpool according to a source close to the Frenchman.

The 23-year-old is with the French national side for the World Cup and the source claimed Tolisso wants a move to the Premier League.

Speaking to Calcio Insider (h/t The Express), the source said:

“Tolisso wants Premier League [move] and [his] dream [is] Liverpool.

This comes after Tolisso himself was quoted as saying that the Premier League is the best as there is a lot of competition between the sides.

The former Lyon man also had a lot of praise for Steven Gerrard:

“I’m not going to say that because otherwise people will say: ‘He compares [himself] to Gerrard’, but I like the passes that Gerrard made.

“Steven Gerrard is someone who knew how to do everything. He could score, defend. You could see him everywhere.”

The 23-year-old scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in all competitions for the Bavarian giants and his form helped him seal a place in the French squad for the World Cup.

If we really are to bring the midfielder in, we would have to pay a lot of money since Tolisso only joined Bayern last season for €41.4m. The Frenchman has a lot of potential too and if he intends to move away from the Bundesliga, there would a lot of interest for the youngster.

We already have brought in Fabinho and Naby Keita for the upcoming season but Tolisso would make another great addition to the side as we look to win a trophy or two under Jurgen Klopp.

The Frenchman would add a lot of quality, cover and competition to the side and hopefully, we get to see him in the Red of Liverpool.
