Liverpool have wished our former player Jose Enrique a speedy recovery after the Spaniard posted an update on Twitter stating that he has been recovering from a surgery to remove a brain tumour.
Wishing you a full and speedy recovery, Jose. Our thoughts are with you and your family. #YNWA https://t.co/HChIdaujFR

The former Newcastle United star joined us at the start of the 2011-12 season and even though he only won the League Cup during his tenure at the club, the Spaniard was one of the few players who seemed to be built for the Premier League, thanks to his physique.
Sure, he might not have been the most technically gifted player but there is no doubt that he always gave it his all. Enrique left the side for Real Zaragoza in 2016 and the Liverpool fans shared their wishes as the former star is recovering from his surgery.
