Hakim Ziyech

Morocco star Hakim Ziyech might not be moving to AS Roma and reports from Italy claim that Liverpool are in the driving seat for the Ajax midfielder.

Football Italia (h/t The Express) claims that the 25-year-old is exploring his options ahead of next season and Liverpool could swoop in for the midfielder.

Roma have already signed Justin Kluivert from Ajax and are also in the hunt for Javier Pastore of Paris Saint-Germain. Ziyech could now be surplus to requirements for the Serie A team.

The Morocco international did have a great season with Ajax as he scored 9 times and provided 15 assists for the side. The 25-year-old was also on show during the World Cup in Russia.

It is this form that has seen a number of clubs interested in him and the report also claims that Lyon want to sign the 25-year-old.

Ziyech was in decent form for the national side in the World Cup and the team had a right old go against powerhouse Spain in their last match which ended 2-2.

The Moroccan could be a cheap signing that can come good for us in the coming season, however, Ziyech would face immense competition for a slot in the team.
