The Daily Mail has carried images of new Liverpool signing Fabinho as he made a grocery run to a local Sainsbury’s supermarket.

The Brazilian was brought in from Ligue 1 club Monaco after our Champions League final loss and he could turn out to be the missing ingredient in our midfield under Jurgen Klopp.

While training is expected to begin on 2 July, Fabinho was pictured coming out of the supermarket and the 24-year-old also had time to sign a few autographs for the fans.

The Brazilian was one of the best players for Monaco when they picked up the Ligue 1 title a couple of years ago and he would add a lot of quality and bite to the midfield, something that has been lacking during Klopp’s time at Anfield.

The £44million star not being part of the Brazil squad can be a good thing for us given that he and Naby Keita can work together and become our preferred partnership in the heart of the park.

The 24-year-old can also play as a right-back, should that be required but we do have a lot of options for that position at the moment.

Fabinho should not be the last signing we make in the summer window as we need to pick up a trophy under Klopp and next season could really be our season as we look to pick up the Premier League title for the first time ever.
