Liverpool are interested in signing Lucas Vazquez of Real Madrid, according to Marca (h/t Daily Mail).
The 27-year-old does have a lot of clubs interested in him as the Spaniard was a part of the World Cup squad in Russia.
Vazquez is one of the more versatile players in the world of football as he can play out wide as a full-back and even as a central midfielder.
The Spaniard played 49 games for the Madrid side as he picked up the Champions League, and he does have a release clause of £275million.
Chelsea, Arsenal and AC Milan are all interested in the player, who is happy at Madrid.
A quality option as a squad player
There is no questioning the quality of Vazquez as he plays not only for Real but was also with the Spain squad at the World Cup.
However, it does seem unlikely that he would be a starter for us next season, given that we have Salah on the right, and have also brought in Fabinho and Naby Keita for the midfield.
Our attack is well set, with Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah leading the line.
However, he would be an excellent option to have on the bench and also start when we need to rest and rotate the side.

Vazquez might not come on the cheap but he could be a surprise signing that can work well with the side next season.
