Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that the club are still working on bringing players in during the transfer window.
The German was speaking to the Liverpool
website (h/t Liverpool Echo) and was quoted as saying that he was happy with how much work we have done in the market:“Yes, I am happy.
“And the work is always going on, that’s how it is. Why should we stop until the window is closing?
“It’s all good in the moment. We will see what happens and I will not – and don’t want to – say it looks a little bit better in that department or this department.”
We have signed Naby Keita and Fabinho but have been frustrated in bringing an attacker and a goalkeeper.
Nabil Fekir was close to joining us before the deal was called off and it is difficult to pursue the likes of Alisson due to the crazy price that AS Roma have slapped on the Brazilian.
The German also added that he wants the players to be fit after the World Cup and that we already have a good team.
There should be a few more additions to the side before the end of the transfer window, however, if we are to challenge for the Premier League title or more.
We did reach the Champions League final last time around but added depth in all departments could make us a real force next season.
