Liverpool are still in the market for a couple of players, according to the Mirror, as the club completed the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Reds have also brought in Naby Keita and Fabinho for the season but the report claims that Jurgen Klopp is looking for a No.10 and a new goalkeeper specifically.

While Shaqiri will be playing in the attack and can be seen as someone who will play out wide, he can do the job of the No.10 if that is a requirement.

However, we almost signed Nabil Fekir before the start of the World Cup and could possibly return for the France star once the competition ends.

The goalkeeping situation has been of greater concern as Loris Karius made another mistake in our pre-season game against Tranmere Rovers and reports had suggested that we might stick with Danny Ward for the season.

Alisson, the AS Roma keeper, has been linked with a big-money move to the club and Klopp could be ready to bid for the Brazilian again as we look to bring someone who is world-class at the back.

Out of the two positions, the goalkeeper’s is the one that concerns us the most as we need someone who is established enough to handle the pressure of playing for the Reds.

We have one of the best attacks in football at the moment and a quality keeper could be the difference between winning and losing a final or two.
