Liverpool’s contingent from the World Cup are coming in and the club have released the latest images of star players Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The players were with their respective national sides but unfortunately could not do enough to take their sides to the knockout round of the competition.
Marko Grujic was another player who returned to training but of course, the attention was on the two forwards who broke multiple records last season.
The players are expected to join up with the rest of the side as we travel to the United States for a pre-season tour in North America.
Liverpool have been very busy in the transfer window as we have signed four players and we do seem set for something special should we play in the same manner as we did last season.
Naby Keita and Fabinho have done their bit by playing in our pre-season games but the real fun will begin when we have Salah, Mane and the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Roberto Firmino linking up and creating magic on the field.
Jurgen Klopp does need to pick up a trophy this season as he has not had the best of records since joining the Reds.
