Jurgen Klopp has kept the door open about a possible move for Christian Pulisic, however, he will not look to break the contract that the player has with current club Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking to the Echo, Klopp also added that the player has a good 14-15 years left in his career and he can get better over time.

“He still has 14 or 15 years to play in his career and that’s good and he wants to be the best Pulisic he can be. For this, there is still space for development.

“If – at one point – he will join us, I don’t know. I like him, it’s not that that could be the problem, but we respect contracts still and there’s no market I know about at the moment. We did our business and Dortmund are doing theirs. All good.”

The American winger has constantly been linked with a move away from Dortmund and with their former manager Klopp being our man, it should not come as a surprise that we are a club high on the list of possible destinations.

Moving for Pulisic this window might seem a little excessive given that we have already brought in four players. Klopp even stated that the business was more or less done for the season.

However, Pulisic is only 19 and it would be great if we do get him in the coming season as he can get better at Liverpool.
