Mohamed Salah certainly looked fit and fine as he helped Liverpool to a 2-1 win over Manchester City in the International Champions Cup game. However, Jurgen Klopp added that the Egyptian is still getting used to the injury he picked up in the Champions League final.
Salah was taken off in the first half against Real Madrid in the final after Sergio Ramos brought him down. The Egyptian was a doubt for the World Cup too but did play for the national side and scored as well.
Klopp was quoted as saying (h/t Express):
“From all medical departments, 100 percent sure it’s all good. But of course, if you end up with the shoulder and there you feel it a bit, you need to get used to it again.
“So that’s all, but he’s fit and all the training sessions look good.”
The German also added that Salah had joined us five days ago but was doing his own training programme at home.
The Reds did look like a different team once Salah and Sadio Mane were brought on against City and the pair got the goals in the victory.
Salah and Mane looked incredibly good and in good form too, so it does look like the pair will hit the ground running once the season starts.

Liverpool face a new-look West Ham United side in the first game of the season and if Salah can start for us, just like he did last season, we will be in for an incredible season.
