Liverpool have been busy in the summer window, landing four players, but a report from Tutto Mercato Web (h/t Express) claims that the Reds are interested in Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
The 20-year-old has been in great form for Corinthians, having scored 4 goals and provided a single assist in 13 league appearances.
The report claims that Paqueta could turn out to be our alternative for Nabil Fekir and a number of clubs are interested in signing the midfielder.
Chelsea and Manchester City have kept an eye on the youngster while Italian giants AC Milan have also set their sights on Paqueta. Liverpool do have a number of Brazilians in the side, with Alisson and Fabinho joining Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian can play in central midfield or on the right-hand side of the park, so he could be a useful addition to the side when it comes to rotating the squad around.
We have brought in Naby Keita and Fabinho to bolster our packed midfield and bringing in more players will only be a measure of providing cover to our stars rather than replacing them.

Paqueta might not be a household name now but if he works his socks off after joining Liverpool, he could be a decent player in the future. If he is happy with a bit-part role at Liverpool, then it would be a decent enough move for all parties.
