Liverpool are preparing to face Napoli in a pre-season friendly today but they have been hit with an injury as Adam Lallana has been withdrawn from the team. The 30-year-old picked up a calf issue, according to a release from the club.

The Englishman had a tough time last season, which was besieged with injuries. Lallana did get back to fitness at the end of the season. However, he could not make it to the England team for the World Cup.
While the Reds have signed four players in the summer, the injury to Lallana might be a concern in the upcoming season.
While the release from the club did mention Lallana would be back for our final pre-season game against Torino, a section of the Liverpool fans did come out and share their concerns regarding the injury record of the Englishman.
