Napoli are looking to make a late move for Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, according to the Daily Mail.
The 30-year-old has attracted interest from Barcelona and Besiktas according to the report, and is open to a move away from Anfield.
Napoli have brought in a couple of keepers to the team this season. They let Pepe Reina leave and Raphael was released but the club have signed Orestis Karnezis and Alex Meret. However, Mignolet is someone that the club is interested in.
Liverpool brought in Alisson and the Brazilian should be the No.1 for the Reds this season. We also have Loris Karius and the report claims that Mignolet would be behind the pair.
The Reds have already sold one keeper in the transfer window, with Danny Ward joining Leicester City. We might have to wait a bit to see if Mignolet is sold. The Italian clubs can still negotiate transfers until the end of the month.
Mignolet started last season as our No.1 but fell behind Karius. The Belgian would not get too many games this season given that we have Karius and Alisson. Selling him would be the best solution for all parties involved.
