Jurgen Klopp joked he would talk about the plumbing, electricity and pool of his home when he faces his landlord in the Match For Cancer at Parkhead on Saturday.

Klopp will face former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, in Glasgow where James Milner’s side will take on Stiliyan Petrov’s men.

Klopp has moved into the Formby mansion which Rodgers had bought from Steven Gerrard. The German was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying:

“It will be fun for sure. Especially because I meet my landlord, I think for the first time since he left Liverpool and I came here. We have a lot of things to talk about.

“The plumbing issue, electricity, the pool and stuff like that. So Brendan, hope you are in good shape and we can sort a few things that day.”

The Liverpool manager added he was excited to visit Glasgow for the first time and even joked how Milner would set the team.

“I have nothing to do with the team, maybe nothing to do with the lineup, because James Milner is in my team and he’s a very demanding person. He will tell me probably ‘he plays there, he plays there.’”

The German has seen his Liverpool side start the season with four consecutive wins. Liverpool haven’t clicked into gear but 12 points is a great result in any book.
