UOL Esporte (h/t Daily Star) claims Liverpool twice rejected the opportunity to sign £45m-rated (h/t Daily Star) Brazilian attacker Pedrinho.
The 20-year-old plays for Corinthians and the report adds his agent, Kia Joorabchian, tried to seal a European move for his client in January and later in the summer window.
The report adds that the agent had spoken with Chelsea, Ajax, Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool but none of the clubs decided to sign the 20-year-old.
Pedrinho plays as a right-winger and has made 23 appearances for Corinthians this season, with a solitary assist to his name.
Although Liverpool didn’t make a move for the youngster, the report suggests that a move to Anfield could take place sometime in the future.
Liverpool have a history of signing Brazilians in recent seasons with Lucas Leiva, Doni, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino all playing for the Reds.
Last season, we landed a pair of Brazilians in Alisson and Fabinho, with the goalkeeper starting all four of our games this season.
There hasn’t been a lot said about Pedrinho but he might not start too many games for us. We have Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to play out wide, meaning the Brazilian would mostly feature in our cup ties.

The 20-year-old doesn’t seem to produce enough goals based on his stats and it will be interesting to track his development in the coming months.
