Liverpool’s clash after the international break is going to be a marker of our title credentials. The Reds face Tottenham at Wembley and the clash comes right after the international break.

Although a number of our stars are away on international duty, training does not stop at Anfield and the Liverpool site shared some of the snaps as the players trained.

Daniel Sturridge stayed put at Liverpool in the summer and he has made a few substitute appearances for the side. However, we could see him start games in the coming weeks.

Liverpool face an incredibly brutal schedule after the international break and we would require all our first-teamers to be fit.

Joel Matip hasn’t started any of our games this season but the Cameroonian might have to step up if either Joe Gomez or Virgil van Dijk were to miss games in the coming months.

Another pair of players that haven’t seen a lot of game time are Alberto Moreno and Nathaniel Clyne. The pair were first-teamers a couple of years ago but Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have relegated them to the bench.

Divock Origi also stayed back at Anfield in the summer and he must receive a chance to start for the Reds soon.

One player that has defied his age this season is James Milner. The Englishman has performed brilliantly for us in the centre of the park and could start our match against Tottenham after the international break.

There were a few youngsters taking part in the training too and Jurgen Klopp should be happy with the performances of the team so far.

Liverpool have won all their games this season and it would be great to return from the international break and resume our winning streak, starting at Wembley.
