Liverpool’s Brazilian contingent is expected to return to Anfield later on 12th September, as national manager Tite didn’t field them in the 5-0 win over El Salvador, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Alisson, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho all started in the friendly against the United States but were put on the bench for the win over El Salvador, as per the report.

Although the players travelled with the squad for the second game, it will be a bit of a boost for the Reds as the trio did not play a single minute in the second game.

Alisson and Firmino have played every game for us this season and should be in line to start against Tottenham on 15th September. Fabinho, however, hasn’t played a single minute this season but he could get some time on the pitch, given our schedule.

Liverpool face Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Napoli and Manchester City across a number of competitions in the next 30 days and it will be important for our side to be fit and fresh.

Alisson has been in decent form between the sticks with three clean shut-outs and Firmino was on the scoresheet in our last game against Leicester City.

Liverpool have the opportunity to start the season with five wins on the bounce but Tottenham will be tough opponents.

We failed to beat them in our clashes last season but with the confidence of leading the Premier League, even at this early stage, Wembley could see our side come out with all three points.
