Aaron Ramsey Liverpool

The Daily Star reports that Aaron Ramsey’s representatives Avid Sports and Entertainment Group have confirmed that the Welshman will leave Arsenal.

A contract extension between the player and club could not be agreed upon, despite the midfielder wanting to stay at the club.

The report adds that Unai Emery wanted to keep the Ramsey and his representatives took to Twitter to dispel rumours.

The Daily Star claims two tweets have been deleted by the Avid account. One tweet replied to an Arsenal supporter saying:

“There is nothing we can do, the club made a decision. Life goes on.

“[The grass] isn’t always greener and he didn’t want to leave, but now there is no other option.”

Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool

The Reds have been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, as per the report. Liverpool signed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last season and Ramsey would be available on a free at the end of this campaign.

The Welsh midfielder can speak to foreign clubs in January. And the report adds that Jurgen Klopp tried to sign the 27-year-old in the summer but failed.

The Arsenal star can do a decent job for us but we already have a packed midfield. We are missing someone who can play the role of an attacking midfielder and maybe that void could be filled by the Welshman in the coming season.
