Liverpool confirmed that Naby Keita was taken to the hospital during the first half of our Champions League game against Napoli.
The Guinea midfielder was substituted after 20 minutes after picking up a back injury.
Liverpool were poor against the Italian side and lost the game 1-0 in the last minute.
The midfielder underwent a number of health checks at a local hospital and there is no timetable as to when he will be released, according to the report.
The Reds are scheduled to fly back to England on Thursday morning, as per the report.
Although we aren’t certain of when Keita will return, a number of Liverpool fans were panicking after hearing about the injury.

Naby Keita had a similar neck injury the last time he flew on a plane. Does not seem to travel well, or not well suited to the cold, which is not good considering what’s ahead. Hope he acclimatises soon 🙏🏼
