Liverpool have been handed a boost as Adam Lallana
is fit for the clash against Huddersfield, according to the Times. The Englishman played three minutes as a substitute against Crystal Palace before picking up a groin injury with England last month.
The report adds that Lallana has been training for the past three weeks and decided to rule himself out of Liverpool’s last two games to complete additional sessions.
Liverpool’s run in after the international break is a little forgiving as we play Huddersfield, Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff City before taking on Arsenal.
The 30-year-old missed a major chunk of last season with a string of injuries and his place in the starting XI isn’t a certainty.
It might be too early to throw him in the starting XI against Huddersfield, but a number of Liverpool fans were convinced Lallana would come good if he stays fit.
