Liverpool are interested in signing Napoli superstar Lorenzo Insigne, according to Rai Sport (h/t Metro).
The Italian scored a late winner for the Serie A club in our Champions League loss a couple of weeks ago. The report adds that Chelsea are keeping an eye on the 27-year-old too and would rival the Reds for any bid on the Italian.
The attacker is known to Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri during their time at Napoli. The report adds that any team looking to sign Insigne up would have to stump a huge fee since the player has four years left on his current deal.
The attacker has seven goals and an assist in all competitions for the Serie A side, so far, and helped them to second place in the league last season.
The report adds that Klopp wants more firepower for the Reds and Insigne could be the perfect fit at Anfield.
Liverpool have Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as quality wingers and added Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer. However, signing Insigne could make our attack one of the best in the world.

The report adds it would be difficult for Insigne to switch clubs in the winter window and we would have to wait till the summer before we make a bid for the 27-year-old.
