Adam Lallana was a surprise starter for Liverpool in their 1-0 win over Huddersfield. The Englishman only had three minutes of first-team action this season, which came against Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old’s previous season was ravaged by injuries and this season has been no different. Lallana pulled out of the England squad during the September international break, but it was great seeing him start a game.
The former Southampton man is perfect for our style, and we saw glimpses of his tricks and flicks at Huddersfield.
Lallana didn’t last the entire 90 minutes as he was subbed after 69 minutes, but a number of fans were pleased with the performance of the 30-year-old.
Thought Lallana was boss today.

Lallana’s close control and initiative to create something is what we missed recently. Today we had glimpses but just didn’t have the final product.
Gini brought a different dynamic to the field when coming on.
Gomez excelling this season.
Hints of 2017/18 Salah back. #LFC

Lallana is that guy on pro clubs who’s unlocked 5 star skills and just wiggles his right analog stick every time he gets the ball #LFC

I thought Lallana had a great game on his return. Fantastic feet, a joy to watch. Match fitness and sharpness will come if he plays more.
