Liverpool will start as favourites as they take on Red Star Belgrade at Anfield. We have to win our games against the Serbians to have any chance of making it into the next round, and the players were doing their best in the final training session ahead of the game.
Alisson Becker went through the paces to stay sharp ahead of the clash against the minnows. The Brazilian has started the season extremely well with six clean sheets from nine Premier League games.
Another player that did well against Huddersfield was Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss star assisted Mohamed Salah for the winner and could be a starter against Red Star on Wednesday.
Two Dutch players have been at the forefront of all things good at Liverpool this season. Virgil van Dijk has been a rock at the back and is one reason why the defence has been so tight.
The other Dutchman doing well is Georginio Wijnaldum. The midfielder is in the best form of his life and should start the game given the injuries to Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita.
A couple of Englishmen have done well this season with Daniel Sturridge scoring four goals so far. Trent Alexander-Arnold hasn’t played regularly at right-back thanks to Joe Gomez but should be in line to start against Red Star.

The Serbians will not be an easy team to face as they drew with Napoli earlier this season. However, we should be able to beat them, especially with a loud Anfield crowd backing us on Wednesday.
