Liverpool had to toil a bit for the three points against Cardiff City. The Reds were expected to take the three points and opened the scoring in the 10th minute with Mohamed Salah.
We had to wait till the second half for another goal with Sadio Mane blasting in with his left foot. Cardiff got back in the game thanks to a smart finish from Callum Paterson from a deflected cross but Xherdan Shaqiri scored the third goal which calmed the nerves.
Mane got Liverpool’s fourth of the game and we went to the top of the Premier League table. Shaqiri didn’t start the game but was a huge influence against Cardiff.
The Swiss star turned it up a notch at Anfield and his first Liverpool goal got a number of fans talking.
