Liverpool made light work of Cardiff city as we ran out 4-1 winners at Anfield. The win lifted us to the top of the table until Manchester City face Tottenham on Monday.
A brace from Sadio Mane and efforts from Xherdan Shaqiri and Mohamed Salah were enough to dispose of the Welsh side.
We did concede our first Premier League goal at Anfield since Michael Antonio got on the score sheet last season, but all in all, it was a great performance.
There were a few surprises in the team as Alberto Moreno, Dejan Lovren and Fabinho started for the Reds.
This was the first Premier League start for Fabinho, and the Brazilian showed his quality and class in midfield.
The former AS Monaco man was brilliant against Red Star Belgrade in midweek and had a decent game yesterday as well.
Klopp took his time to bed the Brazilian into Liverpool, and it is paying dividends. A number of Liverpool fans were ecstatic with the latest performance and they praised the midfielder on Twitter.
