Jurgen Klopp Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that the Reds would not be making any big signings in the winter window.

Klopp signed four top stars in the summer with Alisson, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri joining the team.

The quartet helped us to a great start in the Premier League as we are unbeaten after 10 games, and are tied at the top.

The German was speaking ahead of our tie against Arsenal on Saturday and was quoted by the Metro as saying:

“I don’t think there is any reason to try to do something really big, like bring in another striker.

“At the moment, it doesn’t look like we will be too busy to be honest. But it all depends on injuries and things like that.

“If something happens [to the squad] we might have to think new, but in the moment we have all what we need.”

Klopp is right; we do have all that we need in the side currently. We seem to have two quality players for every position, and almost all the players are doing well in this campaign.

The Reds didn’t spend in the previous winter window either and sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona. However, we doubt if there could be any big names leaving us in January.

Things are going right for Liverpool this season, and hopefully, we will celebrate a trophy or two with the manager soon.
