Liverpool will be without the services of Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita for their clash against Arsenal on Saturday.

The Liverpool captain didn’t feature in our wins over Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff City, while Keita picked up an injury during the last international break.

A release from the club added that the pair are close to returning to training as both have hamstring problems.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told the club’s website that Hendo could be back in training next week.

“Hendo feels really good but it will be probably the start of the week when he will be back in training.

“Naby [will be the] end of this week. It doesn’t make a big difference match-wise, but that’s how it looks.”

The pair are also doubts for our important Champions League tie against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday. Liverpool did well against the Serbian side in the reverse fixture, winning 4-0 at Anfield.

The Reds have options to fill the void left by the captain as Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner have been great this season.

The Brazilian was fantastic in our last two games, and this could mean more playing time for the former Monaco man.

Liverpool will be up against a tough Arsenal side at the Emirates on Saturday, and hopefully, will come out with all three points to stay on top of the Premier League.
