Liverpool were a little lucky to come out with the one point against Arsenal at the Emirates.
The Reds were never at their flowing best against the Gunners, and even though we had a few chances to score, Arsenal also had a number of shots at Alisson.
Trent Alexander-Arnold struggled to defend well on the right-side but Joe Gomez put up another fantastic display alongside Virgil van Dijk.
The youngster couldn’t block Alexandre Lacazette’s shot for the equaliser, but he still could hold his head high after the draw.
Tough game tonight but disappointing not to come away with more than a point…on to champions league now. Thank you for your support #LFC🔴 pic.twitter.com/q4AyqVnWIC

Gomez has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League this season and has displaced Dejan Lovren from the starting XI.
The former Charlton defender is getting better with each game under his belt, and many Liverpool fans were quick to praise the 21-year-old Englishman.
Unlucky Joe, was one of our best players tonight!

Good game Joe. Tough draw to take (Don’t think i’ve felt this bad after a draw in a long time but will get over it). Keep going mate, you’re superb
Onto the UCL 👊
