Liverpool managed to eke out a 2-0 win over Fulham and it needed some doing as the away side were quality in the first half.
The Cottagers might have been rock-bottom in the Premier League, however, they had a couple of quality chances before Mohamed Salah scored on a break.
That provided some comfort to the Liverpool fans after another frustrating display but the goal of the game went to Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Swiss attacker was one of the brightest players on the pitch and scored a sumptuous volley from an Andy Robertson cross.
Shaqiri started the game for the Reds, and he was possibly the best attacker on the day. Many Liverpool fans were happy with the performance of the former Stoke City player and praised his output on Twitter.

Shaqiri is the best player in a Liverpool shirt this season! Our only creative outlet in a predictable team

Shaqiri should start provides a creative flair to midfield as well as goals and on the attack it seems that we’ve started to pass the ball and link up a lot more fluidly compared to many of our games this season

Shaqiri makes Salah slightly better
