Liverpool survived a bit of a scare early on but got the three points with a 2-0 win over Fulham on Sunday.
The win pushed us up to second in the Premier League table as Chelsea drew and Manchester City won their respective games.
It seemed that Aleksandar Mitrovic had opened the scoring in the first half but his effort was ruled offside.
Quick thinking from Alisson and Trent Alexander-Arnold helped Mohamed Salah score the first goal of the game, and the Egyptian posted an image of his boots.

The other goalscorer was Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss star volleyed in our second after half-time and he certainly was pleased with his performance at Anfield.

Andy Robertson provided the cross for our second, and the Scottish captain was happy that the Reds won after their midweek defeat to Red Star Belgrade.
Good reaction from the lads! Important win before the international break 🙌 #YNWA pic.twitter.com/ynSUb8PQCu

James Milner got a few minutes on the pitch after coming on as a substitute.
Professional performance 💪🏻

Our starting midfielders were Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum. While the Brazilian did a great job in midfield, Wijnaldum had more to celebrate.
One more win today. Well done, lads! 🔴⚽️🔥 #YNWA #LFC pic.twitter.com/1nWOD9RqYp

It was the Dutch midfielder’s birthday and Jurgen Klopp did sub him around 20 minutes before the end of the game.
Another solid game at home! Now it’s time to celebrate my birthday🎉🕺🏿 Thanks for the support and of course all the lovely birthday wishes❤#YNWA pic.twitter.com/Ru1swqTpJp

Simon Mignolet hasn’t played a single minute in our Premier League campaign, but the Belgian was quick to celebrate the win too.
Another great result. Good job boys! See you after the international break 🔜🇧🇪 pic.twitter.com/igSp0lkO6S

Liverpool play Watford when the players return after the international break. The Reds are a couple of points behind Manchester City at the top of the table, and getting the three points at Vicarage Road will be difficult.
