Liverpool training

Liverpool have a tough clash ahead of them once the international break comes to an end. Playing Watford at Vicarage is never going to be easy, and we have to ensure our players are at the best levels after the international games.

The Reds do have several first-team players at Melwood and they were put through the paces recently by Jurgen Klopp and the coaching staff.

One player who has been in the news for the wrong reasons is Daniel Sturridge. The Englishman is currently being investigated over an alleged breach of betting rules but he was seen training with the rest of the side.

Another Englishman that was seen at Melwood was James Milner. The former Manchester City and Leeds United star has been excellent this season for Liverpool and could be in line to start against the Hornets.

There are a few players that just can’t seem to get starts for the Reds. Alberto Moreno has been shunted to the bench for most of the games due to the rise in Andy Robertson’s stock at Anfield.

Similarly, Nathaniel Clyne cannot get any games for the Reds in the Premier League but the Englishman was still seen trying his best in front of the boss.

Joe Matip has made a couple of starts in the Champions League and Premier League for the Reds, and it seems he is ready for the battle against the Hornets.

Liverpool have to keep the pressure on Manchester City, and a win over Watford would be an incredible result for the Reds.

We also have a huge game against PSG coming up after the Vicarage Road clash, and a win against the French side would be enough to take us into the next round of the Champions League.
